Recently I have been working on a novel that hasn’t gone all that smoothly. Some flow, some are a struggle. But like kids, you love them the same.
As a tonic, I’ve also worked on some shorter pieces and just published Seaside Lust, which is a fun 6,000 word story about a woman who finds herself going on a lovely vacation with the wrong guy and probably for the wrong reasons. At the very least, she didn’t listen when the alarm bells warning her about him went off. Still, she meets some good people who are able to help save the day, and in a lustful way, as befits an erotic short story.
I suppose the point of this is that when I get stuck writing my solution is to write more.
